I have laugh lines because I have laughed.

Knock-knock jokes, silly faces, and stand-up comedy, oh, my how I have laughed.

It may be my favorite thing to do.

I have smile lines because I have smiled.

Life has given me many blessings that have made me smile.

It may be my favorite thing to do.

I have wrinkles around my nose.

Probably from sniffing roses, my mom's perfume and new baby hair.

It may be my favorite thing to do.

I have wrinkles around my eyes,

I've seen magical sunsets, babies smile, and love, ohh I've seen lots of love.

It may be my favorite thing to do.

I have white hair leading up to my ears.

I have heard giggling babies, chimes in the wind, and songs that make me cry.

It may be my favorite thing to do.

My knees creek, my hips ache, and my ankles are weak.

I've chased after babies, danced in the rain, and knelt down to pray.

It may be my favorite thing to do.

My hands don’t have the strength they used to have.

But I have held your hand.

And, it may be my favorite thing to do.
